The familiar and humble radish; sweet, crisp & peppery, easy and quick to grow in spring and autumn and fully edible (yes try eating the leaves too!) This bunch is a mix of classic and slightly more unsual varieties, and will come in all shapes & sizes. Radishes tend to be best eaten raw; chopped into salads, pickled or just as a snack with a dash of salt, but they can be cooked as well. You can try adding to your next tray of roast veggies or tossing into a stir fry. The leaves can be used like a peppery spinach, raw or cooked.
