🥕 How it all works:
🌳 Our Values:
- At Wern Farm we are committed to providing food that is good for customers, and good for habitats.
- All produce from our farm is grown using agroecological principles- that means looking after our soil and ecology, creating and restoring habitat, and NEVER using artificial fertilisers, herbicides or pesticides. We are in the process of going into organic conversion to be certified by the Soil Association- we hope to be fully certified at the start of 2028
- We endeavour to fill our boxes with as much of our own produce as we can- if we don’t have enough produce to fill our veg boxes all year round we will buy in from other producers that share our values
- We want to support other local producers so you will often see ‘add ons’ of products in the veg boxes that are brought in from other producers- we make sure that those products meet our standards in land-care and people-care
- We are a small scale farm with limited equipment- we therefore buy staples from organic wholesaler Watson and Pratts and, in the winter, we’ll buy other products to fill our veg boxes. We make sure those products are grown to organic standards, are as local as possible, and are grown under fair working conditions.
- All our produce is seasonal. We fill the boxes with what we can of our own produce and we do not buy in produce that is out of season- that means no winter tomatoes from heated greenhouses- it’s just not sustainable!

⏸️ Pausing your box:
- You can pause your box by logging into to your account
- If you are having trouble with this just email us at fferm.wern@gmail.com and we can do it manually from our end
- How about donating your box to a friend if you are going away? Just let them know the usual pick up spot!
❌ Cancellation Policy:
- If you need to pause or cancel your box, you must do so before 5pm on Sunday at the latest otherwise you will still be charged for the upcoming box, this is because we order in any wholesale extras on Sunday night
📦 Left Box Policy:
- We don’t want to see our veggies go to waste, and we don’t want to inconvenience the lovely venues who are kindly letting us use them as collection points, so- any boxes that are left longer than 48hrs will be donated to someone else. We hope you understand our need to do this. If you have an issue with picking up your box please email us your circumstances (fferm.wern@gmail.com) and we will try to accommodate you.
We hope you enjoy our veggies!
