Spinach - New Zealand

A tender and flavoursome salad or cooking green! Like regular spinach, New Zealand Spinach is a leafy green, however, its leaves are much thicker and succulent, lending it the alternate name of ice plant. This warm season alternative is also packed with nutrients and a perfect stand-in for regular spinach. Use raw in salads, steam, stir fry or use any other way you would spinach - it even makes a great Saag Aloo!
