Chilli Peppers - Padron (Mild)

£1.50 (per 150g)

Padron peppers are a type of chilli pepper that originated in northwestern Spain, picked when they're green and about 2 inches long they vary in spice level, with most being fairly mild but some much hotter! They're typically fried or grilled until they go soft and the skin starts to blister, then sprinkled with salt and served with dips or bread as part of a tapas (spanish 'small plates' meal) spread. You can also use them anywhere you would fresh chillies for a fairly gentle spicy kick!
